Zsófia comes from Budapest, Hungary. She is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in European Studies at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. She grew up alongside Hungary’s democratic backsliding, experiencing first-hand the restrictions on freedom of expression that motivated her to move abroad and study in the Netherlands. Her exchange semester at the University of Vienna deepened her interest in geopolitics and the international political economy of energy.
